Our Beautiful Daughter

"Our family was then at breaking point and we were desperate for help."

"Our daughter, now aged 14 years, came to Eagle House School (Norfolk) over a year and a half ago. Our family was then at breaking point and we were desperate for help. Our daughter had hit adolescence and it sure hit her and us hard. Her anxiety levels were so high and so were her extreme outbursts and aggressive behaviours. She was out of school through permanent exclusion and all our lives came to a standstill."

"We were all exhausted, desperate and unable to keep going as we had for all those years before. We went through every emotion possible when we placed her at Eagle House School - sad, guilty, worried sick but also totally relieved at having eventually found a placement that was right for her. The difference in all our lives has been transforming."

"She is so much happier and her anxiety levels have reduced hugely, as have her behaviours. She is known at the school for her wicked sense of humour and sense of fun. Now that her anxiety has reduced, she is able to learn again and her language has increased so much that she now calls us for a chat every night - something we never felt possible before. We love our nightly call. She is our star and we are thrilled with her continued progress."

Our Son is Happy Now

"We feel we have found the right place for him"

"The struggle to find the right provision for our son was a long one and took over two years. We were thrilled to find Eagle House School (Norfolk) and to finally end the uncertainty about our son's future care and education. However, when the big day arrived, the whole family found it a very tough and emotional day. Could they cope with our son's needs, would he be happy? Within a short time we knew we had made the right decision."

"Our son is happy, has a purposeful day and we feel we have found the right place for him. We can now give some attention to our two girls and enjoy the fact that we can all stay as a whole family in the parent's house whilst being close to our son. It is a real home from home and allows us to have family time - without us incurring any extra cost."

Our Boy is Happier and Calmer

"People who live in our village have noticed a great change"

"Our son has been at Eagle House School (Norfolk) since September 2006. We were lucky to stumble across Eagle House as it was a new school.
After several visits it was decided by the agencies involved and us as parents that he would benefit by going to a new residential school."

"What a success it has been. He is happier, calmer, much easier to handle and is now trying to communicate with Makaton signing. It has been wonderful, especially for him and for our family. Close friends and people who live in our village have noticed a great change and all for the better. The school has everything our child needs and for the first time in many years, we can go to bed and sleep, knowing that he is being well cared for and making progress."
